Private wine tasting classes
In addition to ticketed wine tasting events, The Assembly is thrilled to offer private wine tasting classes. Whether you’re planning a casual afternoon with friends or celebrating a special occasion, it’s the perfect way to expand your knowledge and enjoy some truly phenomenal wines.
Tasting classes are available for a maximum of 10 guests.
Classes are available Saturday and Sunday from 3pm - 5pm. (Alternate class times may incur an additional space fee.)
Classes begin at $550.00, regardless of the number of guests.
Price will depend on the number and style of wines selected - in particular, exclusive releases and high-price wines (such as vintage Champagne) will result in an increased class price.
Price includes a guided tasting for up to 10 guests with a phenomenal wine professional and snacks prepared by The Assembly.
Tax and gratuity are not included.

What exactly is natural wine? From ancient practices to experimental styles, we’ll introduce you to this buzzword of the wine world. There’s a whole spectrum of “natural” out there and we’ll help you find your personal sweet spot, whether you’re just learning about spontaneous fermentation or can recite the differences between biodynamic farming and cosmo-culture.
All White Everything
Dive deep into the world of white wines, from Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, and Riesling to Sémillon, Gewürtztraminer and Vermentino.
Regional Expedition
Do you love Napa and want to discover more of the area’s best and brightest producers? Or are you eager to explore a region you’ve never heard of? Throw a dart at the map, then join us to taste your way through a single wine-making region.
A Little Skin
There’s a whole spectrum of colors between Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah - and it’s not just rosé. The secret to those amber, orange, and pink hues? Skin contact. Learn about the colors, flavors, and textures that appear when juice and skin meet (or don’t!).
Seeing Red
We love heavy hitters like Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir as much as you do, but there are even more red grapes to explore: Montepulciano, Gamay, Alicante Bouschet, Aglianico, Blaufränkish… the list goes on and on!
